MCP announces launch of MCP Shield beta

MCP Insight is pleased to announce the launch of MCP Shield, our real-time fraud detection and blocking solution.

Fraud Blocking solutions are fast-becoming the norm in Premium Rate Advertising worldwide. Recently, in South Africa where use of an anti-fraud solution is a WASPA Code requirement, MTN agreed to support bespoke anti-fraud solutions to help stem the tide of fraud on their payment gateway.

MCP Shield enters the ring as part of MCP Insight’s elite portfolio of ad monitoring and consumer verification solutions.

With an intuitive analytics portal and a simple implementation process, MCP Shield operates by detecting unexpected changes and actions on your service landing or payment page. It determines whether a payment request is legitimate or fraudulent by monitoring the activity of the alleged consumer and by logging whether the consent is bot or human in a transaction assessment.
